Postdoctoral positions in Mathematics at Dartmouth

The Department of Mathematics at Dartmouth College invites applications for a postdoctoral appointment that can start as early as December 1, 2024. This appointment will be under the direction of Professor Peter Mucha, with potential funding through grants from the ARL, NIDDK and NSF on different applications of network science in interdisciplinary collaborations for modeling within-person dynamics of cognitive processes, modeling disease transmission at the human/animal interface, and metabolomic data analysis. Specific areas of research interest include community detection, higher-order interactions, link prediction, statistical analysis of time series from dynamical processes, and other areas of scientific machine learning.

Postdoctoral Position at the University of Virginia

The Department of Biology at the University of Virginia invites applications for a postdoctoral appointment. This appointment will be under the direction and mentorship of Prof. Nicholas Landry. This interdisciplinary position will offer opportunities to collaborate with the Department of Biology, the Biocomplexity Institute, the Quantitative Collaborative, and the School of Data Science at the University of Virginia. Start date is flexible and can be anytime between February and September of 2025.

Postdoctoral Positions at the Center for Network Dynamics, Northwestern University

The newly launched Center for Network Dynamics at Northwestern University is actively seeking postdoctoral research applicants interested in complex systems and networks. We welcome applications from individuals with expertise in various aspects of network science relevant to the modeling of biological, physical, and engineering systems. The projects are theoretical and computational but benefit from empirical data and close collaborations with experimental colleagues. If you are passionate about advancing the understanding of networks and their applications in diverse fields, we encourage you to apply to join our dynamic research team.
