CCS 2026 | SUNY Symposium on Complex Systems Research and Education
The SUNY Symposium on Complex Systems Research and Education is a prominent two-day satellite event held during the 2026 Conference on Complex Systems (CCS 2026). It brings together SUNY faculty and students to highlight research, educational initiatives, and collaborative opportunities within the SUNY network.
General Information
We will organize the SUNY Symposium on Complex Systems Research and Education as a two-day inter-campus Conversation at Binghamton University, where SUNY faculty members and students who study/teach/learn the interdisciplinary complex systems science will come together and share their research projects and educational efforts, discuss collaborative projects, and establish a new SUNY-wide academic network on complex systems.
This Conversation will be organized as a special satellite symposium during the 2026 Conference on Complex Systems. It will be open to anyone (i.e., not limited to CCS 2026 participants) who is interested in SUNY’s research and educational activities in the field of complex systems.
Call for Participation
We invite SUNY faculty, researchers, postdocs, students, educators, and practitioners to submit presentation proposals for the SUNY Symposium on Complex Systems Research and Education. Contributions may address any area of complex systems research, education, methods, or applications. Submit your proposal (in a one-page abstract format) to share your work, connect with the SUNY complex systems community, and help showcase the breadth of complexity science across the SUNY system.
Please submit your abstract by July 1, 2026
We plan to provide financial travel support for about 10~15 SUNY students to participate in this Symposium. If you are interested, please submit the form by July 1, 2026.
