About the Event

The 11th BRAIN Conference convenes grant awardees, staff, leadership from the BRAIN Initiative’s federal and non-federal partners, and anyone interested in neuroscience and BRAIN Initiative-funded research. Conference participants will discuss the latest scientific developments and exciting research priorities for technology-driven innovation in neuroscience. This biennial event provides a forum for collaboration, discussion, and coordination across the BRAIN Initiative community.

Call For Submissions

Important dates:

  • The Photo and Video Contest is open until July 2, 2026, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Learn more and submit your entry.
  • Poster Abstract Submissions are open until June 28, 2026, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Learn more and submit posters.
  • Symposia Submissions are open until June 21, 2026 (deadline extended), at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Learn more and submit symposium.

Submit Poster Abstract: Attendees are encouraged to submit poster abstracts. Trainees and scholars may also choose to have their poster abstract considered for a Scholar Spotlight. The one-minute talks will be presented before the morning plenary sessions on August 12. The Scholar Spotlight talks provide the presenters with the opportunity to highlight their work to the full conference audience as we kick off the meeting!

Participate in the Photo and Video Contest: We are excited to launch this year’s photo and video contest. This unique contest is an opportunity to showcase the colorful and inspiring images captured by today’s advances in neurotechnology. We’re excited to check out your creative fusions of art and science!
